About Me
Hello there, everyone calls me Marga. (My pseudonym online is Murgaloo, in case you were wondering with all the usernames on my social media lol). I'm 23 years old, proudly Filipino, and a teensy bit of Spanish. I graduated college in 2015 from DLSU-Manila. I took up International Studies partly because of the traveling bit but also because international relations interests me so much.
I love to write and I dream of becoming a writer someday. I also love photography; I just recently began this hobby though, so I'm still learning. Check out my gallery! I also love organizing things and events so I'm currently working as an Events Officer. I also love baking, painting and playing around with Photoshop. I'm also a hopeless wanderlust, always dreaming of being on a plane off to somewhere and forgetting about all my responsibilities. I'd love most of all to tour Europe, exploring one beautiful city after another.
Aside from all of those hobbies I mentioned, I advocate for a lot of things, particularly animal welfare, caring for the environment and mental health awareness. I really love animals, particularly bunnies. I have two rabbits named Marion (8 years old) and Oreo (2 years old). Check them out on Instagram! I also advocate for mental health awareness because I myself am a mental health fighter and survivor. I suffer from anxiety, depression and PTSD. Despite that, here I am, fighting! I wish for the stigma about mental health in my country would change, and I hope to make a change about it somehow.
I'm a massive fan of movie franchises (or movies in general!), most especially Marvel and Star Wars. Some of my ultimate favorite celebrities include Chris Evans, Carrie Fisher, Hayley Atwell, Elizabeth Olsen, Tessa Thompson, Lupita Nyong'o, Daisy Ridley, Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, among others. My two favorite shows are Marvel's Agents of SHIELD and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
